Earth & Paper Mail Club is a visual storytelling experience from photographer Marlena Sloss and paper artist Sarah Ann Jump. Through the mail each month, you'll receive a physical reminder to disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with the natural one.

Marlena Sloss is a Juneau, Alaska-based documentary photographer whose work explores the interconnectedness of humans and the natural world. From Alaska to Mexico, she has photographed people with deep connections to the Earth through their work, lifestyle, and personal philosophies. This project was photographed on a 1950s Rolleiflex 3.5 MX-EVS TLR camera using Kodak Portra 400 medium format film.

Sarah Ann Jump is a Brooklyn, New York-based interdisciplinary artist focused on storytelling through form, materials, and interactivity. The art she creates for Earth & Paper Mail Club uses paper engineering techniques to evoke wonder and encourage contemplation, letting you spin, fold out, pull apart, or pop up each photograph.

• Limited edition 5"x7" photography print by Marlena Sloss, featuring a real person and what they've learned from nature. Inkjet print on premium luster paper.
• Interactive paper art piece designed to deepen your engagement with the story, handmade by Sarah Ann Jump. Each month features a different paper engineering mechanism made with archival materials.
• Letter sharing the story behind the photo, along with a contemplative prompt for your own reflection.
• Matte 4"x6" photo postcard to encourage you to share your thoughts with another.

Earth & Paper Mail Club is designed as a complete sensory experience — the print, paper art, letter, and postcard all work together to tell each month's story. For those who'd like a simpler way to participate, we also offer a Print & Letter tier, which includes the photograph and its story but not the interactive paper art or postcard.

This is a six-month project. No matter when you subscribe, your subscription always begins with Edition No. 1, followed by each remaining edition monthly, in order. After you've received all 6 editions, your subscription automatically ends. You may pause or cancel your subscription through your customer account.
